Responsible for brands including Superdry, 77Breed and SurfCo California, SuperGroup is one of the most distinctive fashion retailers worldwide. Based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, the company operates a multi-channel business through a combination of Cult and Superdry standalone stores, Superdry concessions, e-Commerce and its UK and International Wholesale operations.
Yet when it came to transforming a former warehouse into an office environment that was as distinctive and cutting-edge as its clothing ranges, the company called on the expertise of the Commercial team.

Commercial created a stylish and modern client surrounding that would present a professional, forward-looking image in line with the company's reputation and values. Distinctive furniture was chosen to mirror the style of the company and its brands enabling a seamless impression of the company and its culture to be created in one space.

The Brief
Star Technology Services (known in the industry simply as Star) is one of the UKs leading IT and communications service providers. A pioneer of many of the past decade's most cutting-edge developments, Star uses trailblazing cloud computing technologies and innovative Internet business applications to provide complete computing and communications solution to over 3,500 companies nationwide.
One of the company's key regional hubs in Gloucester had expanded to occupy a number of units, across numerous floors within a large office complex. The inefficiency caused by such a diverse network of offices and a number of separate leases motivated Star to look at ways to consolidate.

The Solution
Commercial and its in-house Architect reconfigured key areas of the office to use space more efficiently, which included relocating the main reception. This carefully considered design enabled Star to reduce its office footprint by a third, consolidate everything into one office and one lease. The introduction of vibrant colours on both furniture and walls completed the look.

The EMS Global Tracking division of EMS Technologies is a leader in global telematics, force-tracking and microtelemetry solutions, and is a pioneer in Search and Rescue technology.
The division's solutions are used around the world to safeguard and monitor cargo, personnel and fleet assets in some of the harshest environments of the world. The division has sold in excess of 185,000 satellite terminals, which offer a variety of options for communications
As a result of continued expansion, EMS appointed Commercial to completely upgrade key areas within its Tewkesbury Head Office.

The Solution
Commercial introduced a number of smart design ideas to highlight EMS Global Tracking's brand identity in a range of subtle ways. The transformation of key areas such as meeting rooms and reception area ensured a warm, welcoming feel was created for both clients and staff alike.

The Brief
Pate's Grammar School is recognised as one of the UKs top five secondary schools. With a history dating back to 1574, Pates has become synonymous with education excellence. Yet with its main school building dating back to 1965, on-going maintenance and phased modernisation is required to allow the school to continue providing a state-of-the-art learning environment and ensure that its enviable reputation remains deserved.
Pate's appointed Commercial to undertake a serious of projects to upgrade key educational spaces.

The Solution
Commercial has worked closely with Pate's to redesign several of its IT Suites, Music Rooms and Science Laboratories. The introduction of high quality, durable ranges of furniture and equipment along with the upgrading of the IT Infrastructure have enabled these key facilities to not only meet but exceed current UK educational standards.

The Brief
OMG is one of the world's leading marketing companies. As the creative mastermind behind many household names including Coca Cola and Cadburys, it was important for the company's office to truly represent its capability and reputation.
Although located in a beautiful, historical building in central London, OMG challenged Commercial to enhance the existing structure to create a bright, vibrant and inspirational working environment for its dynamic and creative staff.

The Solution
The Commercial team rose to the challenge. The office space, which spanned three levels, now offers three completely open plan floors. The introduction of white desking coupled with vibrant coloured seating provides a dramatic contrast and has enabled zoning for team differentiation without discouraging or limiting interaction.
What was once a rather oppressive space has been transformed into a space that expresses their true personality.
